Part 2: The Whole Leader: Holistic Approach To Leadership – Episode: 64

In the second episode of this insightful two-part series, Angie Lion, host of The Leader U Podcast from Black River Performance Management, continues her conversation with Jeff Hough. Jeff delves into his leadership philosophy, “the whole leader,” emphasizing well-being, humility, openness, listening, and empowerment. He shares his experiences with his Mastermind group, a supportive network that helps leaders overcome the isolation of leadership, foster learning, and build meaningful connections. He passionately believes in the value of investing in oneself through coaching, recounting his journey with bodybuilding and a powerful, life-changing conversation with his coach about commitment. Throughout the episode, Jeff emphasizes the critical role of self-awareness and emotional intelligence in leadership. He discusses how personal growth can create a positive impact, influencing not just the leader but those around them.
